Scenes Study

Grades: 6th - 8th
Day/Time: Mondays, 4:30-5:30pm
Location: East open in maps

This class will be focused more on acting and scene work for the students. They will first learn how to analyze a script and pick up on details to help them make decisions about their character, environment, and emotions. Then, they will be assigned monologues to memorize and work on both in class and at home. The students will be guided through the monologue work, using textual clues to bring the piece to life! This will end in a final performance of monologues.
