At Cornerstone Music Studios, we believe music education should be both artistically inspiring and personally enriching. Our mission is to cultivate confident, creative musicians through high-quality instruction, meaningful performance opportunities, and a supportive musical community.
As one of the area’s premier music studios, Cornerstone is proud to offer exceptional instruction from a team of dedicated and highly skilled faculty. Lessons take place in thoughtfully curated studio spaces designed to inspire creativity, focus, and a genuine love of music.
Our programs extend beyond weekly lessons to include a vibrant calendar of recitals, community performances, and studio events that allow students to grow not only as musicians but also as confident individuals who feel comfortable sharing their music with others.
The following policies are designed to ensure a positive, consistent, and professional experience for all students and families while supporting the high standards that define the Cornerstone Music Studios community.
Semester Enrollment
Cornerstone Music Studios operates on a semester-based calendar to provide consistency in scheduling, high-quality instruction, and a wide variety of studio events and performance opportunities throughout the year.
Students are enrolled in a reserved weekly lesson time with their faculty member, which remains consistent throughout the semester.
Semesters:
Semester A (Fall/Winter)
Semester B (Winter/Spring)

Semester Enrollment Benefits
Semester enrollment includes far more than weekly lessons. Students receive access to a full musical experience that supports their artistic development.

A reserved weekly lesson time in your faculty member’s schedule
Opportunities to perform in or attend studio events, including mini recitals, studio classes, community events, open mic nights, student karaoke night, and adult karaoke night
Unlimited admission for family and friends to all studio recitals and events
Professional accompaniment for recital performances
Recital keepsakes and awards
Access to printed sheet music and educational materials assigned by faculty
Professionally tuned and maintained pianos throughout the studio
Music books and accessories are available for purchase in the studio
Access to a library of educational music games
A thoughtfully designed learning environment that is nurturing, creative, and aesthetically welcoming
Tuition & Payment Options
For your convenience, Cornerstone Music Studios offers several tuition payment options.

One-time payment for the full semester
Option 2
Two payments per semester
(2% processing fee per payment)
Option 3
Monthly payments
(5% processing fee per payment)
Payment Terms
Invoices are sent via QuickBooks Online prior to the start of each semester.
Please add billing@cornerstonemusicstudios.com to your contacts to ensure delivery of invoices and studio correspondence.
Cornerstone Music Studios is not responsible for missed communications due to blocked or unreceived emails.

Families selecting monthly payments must keep a credit card on file for automatic billing.
Late Payment Policy
If payment is not received before lessons begin, the student’s reserved lesson time may be forfeited.
Late payment fees include:
$25 weekly late fee for overdue balances
$30 returned check fee
Lesson Attendance & Cancellation Policy
Regular attendance is essential for consistent musical progress. Students should make every effort to attend their scheduled lessons.
Each faculty member follows a Make-Up Lesson Policy, which may include one of the following options when a student must miss a lesson:
Student Make-Up Lesson
One per semester
Faculty coordinates an additional in-person lesson
Requires 6 hours notice directly to the teacher via text
Studio Class Option
One per semester
Student attends a group class with other students
Requires 6 hours notice directly to the teacher via text
Student Lesson Video
Unlimited option
Teacher records an interactive lesson video during the student’s scheduled lesson time
Requires 1 hour notice directly to the teacher via text
Faculty Cancellations
If a teacher must cancel a lesson, they will provide one of the following:
Virtual lesson
Faculty make-up day(s)
Qualified substitute teacher
If a student chooses not to attend a scheduled make-up lesson or substitute lesson, the lesson will be forfeited.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the studio will determine whether to remain open or close.
If the studio remains open, families will be contacted by their faculty member with their lesson options: virtual lesson during their scheduled lesson time or a make-up lesson.
If the studio closes, faculty may choose to conduct virtual lessons or schedule a make-up day(s).
Notifications may be sent via email, text message, or the studio website.
Code of Conduct
Cornerstone Music Studios is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all students and families.
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
Bullying (physical, verbal, or emotional)
Cyberbullying or harassment through digital communication
Damage to studio instruments or property
Possession or use of illegal drugs or controlled substances
Smoking or vaping anywhere on studio property or parking areas
Littering on studio grounds
Parents/guardians are responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused by a student.
Disciplinary Action
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action at the discretion of Cornerstone Music Studios, including:
Suspension or expulsion from lessons without refund
Suspension from performances or studio activities
A meeting with studio administration and the student’s family
