Our Performance Philosophy
Performance is a vital part of a student’s musical journey.
At Cornerstone Music Studios, we strive to develop not only skilled musicians but confident performers who feel comfortable sharing their music within a supportive community.
Students have the opportunity to perform in a variety of events, including:
Annual Recital
Our Annual Recital is the studio’s largest performance event of the year, where students of all ages and experience levels have the opportunity to showcase the music they have been working on throughout the year in a formal concert setting for family, friends, and the Cornerstone community.
Holiday Spectacular Recital
The Holiday Spectacular Recital is a festive seasonal performance celebrating the joy of music during the holiday season. Students perform holiday favorites and seasonal repertoire in a fun and celebratory concert for family and friends.
Mini Recitals
Mini Recitals are smaller, more informal performance opportunities held throughout the year. These events allow students of all ages to gain valuable performance experience in a supportive and relaxed setting.
Community Events
Cornerstone Music Studios regularly participates in community events, giving students the opportunity to share their music beyond the studio, represent Cornerstone, and contribute to the local arts community.
Outreach Performances
Outreach Performances provide students with meaningful opportunities to share their music in service-oriented settings such as senior living communities, local organizations, and charitable events.
Senior Recital
The Senior Recital is a special performance honoring graduating high school seniors who have studied at Cornerstone Music Studios. This recital celebrates their musical accomplishments and dedication as they conclude this chapter of their musical journey.
Open Mic Nights
Open Mic Nights are relaxed, student-centered performance events open to students in grades 7–12. These drop-off events (no parents) create a fun, supportive environment where students can perform, collaborate, and share music with their peers.
All studio performances are free to attend — family and friends are always welcome.
For students who are new to performing, attending a recital as an audience member is a wonderful way to become familiar with the experience.
