Alexander Ringo

Alexander Ringo is a versatile musician, with a wide variety of skills and experiences, tailored to the modern musical environment. Trained in both classical and jazz performance on trombone throughout his youth, he joined and formed several musical groups that played at locations in New Jersey such as the Stone Pony and Brighton Bar. Over time he developed an interest in electronic assisted performance, and audio engineering for video games. Earning his B.M in Computer Music from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, he was able to study under Griffen Cohen and Geoff Knorr, at the time Lead Audio Designer and Composer (respectively) for Firaxis Games, creator of the Civilization series of strategy games. Since college, Alex has worked as a 8th grade technology arts teacher, a robotics coach, and as a musical tutor in classical and jazz theory, performance, and the recording arts.
