Recital Programs & Information
All of us at Cornerstone Music Studios are very excited about the changes and improvements happening here. We invite you and your children to join us for upcoming scheduled performances to experience all that our talented Cornerstone students have to share!
Performance is an invaluable part of music education. Student performances improve students' confidence, public speaking and presentation abilities, encourage more meticulous mastery of the music and enforce great practice habits among many other things.
Cornerstone is proud to be expanding our performance opportunities for students this year. In addition to our end of the year recital and frequent mini-recitals, we are adding two new venues for students to consider!
-Mini-Recital" Performance Events are always held at Cornerstone Music Studios EAST (located at 352 Sweetmans Lane) and begin promptly at 7:45pm. Performances feature students who have been invited by their teachers to showcase their hard work each month throughout the year. Each recital is followed by a light reception for parents and family. Our mini-recitals give students the opportunity to perform in a low-stress, friendly environment and grow as a musician and performer. Upcoming recitals will be held on January 20, February 10, March 16, April 20 and May 11, 2012.
-Seasonal Outreach Performances will take place in local nursing homes, churches and other venues in our community. Not only will they give students the opportunity to perform in public, these performances provide entertainment for local citizens that may not otherwise be able to experience the talent and charisma of our students. Sharing music with others is life-changing for both the performer and the audience!
-Cornerstone is now proud to have many High School Seniors studying with us! We are very fortunate to have been able to grow with these students and will be holding a Senior Recital this year to honor them and showcase all they've done with us. This special recital will be held in May and everyone is invited to come and support our hard-working High School Grads!
Thank you for your continued hard work in music. We look forward to hearing your children perform throughout this year and beyond. Happy music making!
